Thea is a high school nerd whose presence in her school is non-existence to most of the school's popular kids. She just went to school, sat on the farthest corner of the room, ate her mother's delicious lunch in a big tree beside the school's playground and rode the school bus. Just a normal high school student indeed. At home, while playing her favorite pastime game, Mobile Legends, she was paired with an Assassin player called NightSky92. Being a Support player herself, she likes the idea of partnering with NightSky92 to all team clashes and fights in the game. The game ended with 35:21, in favor of Thea's team. NightSky92 was hailed as the mighty MVP of that game scoring 19-0-8 (Meaning 19 kills, 0 deaths and 8 assist) while Thea got the most assisted kills. Happy with the results of their previous match. Thea suddenly got an invite from NightSky92 to again participate in a match. Hesitant at first, but after a short sign she gave in anyway thinking that this might help her rank up. NightSky92 suggested turning on Thea's microphone setting so that they may communicate well during the game. But Thea refuses. She is a shy girl and can't have long conversations with people she is not comfortable with. It will make her dizzy every time. The game started in a blast. With Thea's help, NightSky92 kills the Turtle on its first appearance. Being the supporting character Angela and NightSky92 as the deadly assassin Gusion, they aced the early game with flying colors. Feeling amazed, NightSky92 messaged the team with, "Good Job!" flashing through the screen. Seeing this, Thea knows exactly what the message was for her. With a smile on her face, she posted a message too. Saying, "Nice Game!". They continue teaming up together. From taking the buffs and turtles as they guard the middle tower to killing the opponent's characters through ambush and team clashes. Unknowingly, lurking in the shadows, there hides a character from their opponent's team named Aldous. He was stacking energy to fight against NighSky92's Gusion in the middle of the game. One by one, Thea's team is killed by Aldous with the support of the opponent's tank character, Uranos. While trying to fight Eudora, a mage-type character, Gusion is struck by Eudora's Superconductor that freezes him for 3 seconds. When Aldous saw this, using his ultimate - Contract: Chase Fate, he dashed his way to NightSky92's assassin character - Gusion and, by enhancing its basic attack using his first skill - Contract: Soul Steal, he killed Gusion by a blow of his hand. Seeing this, Thea was disheartened and said her sorry directed to NightSky92. But NightKSky92 just said, "That's okay :)" to her. With the flame in NightSky92's heart, once NightSky92's character Gusion revived from death. Gusion immediately looks for Aldous. Aldous was finishing his kill to one of Thea's team mates, a marksman named Miya, when Gusion asked Thea's character, Angela, to help him get back at Aldous. Aldous used all his skills to kill the character Miya. Gusion, with the help of Angela (Thea's character in the game), killed the character Aldous in a blink of an eye. Gaining back NightSky92's honor, Thea was delighted. They pushed through towers after towers and got their hard earned victory. Thea was happy and thrilled about the game. It was like the best game she had in her life. NightSky92 and Thea immediately congratulated themselves for winning. It was a feeling that Thea never had for so long. It was like having a friend. After checking NightSky92's profile, a message pops up on the Thea's game inbox. It came from NightSky92 saying, "That was a great game :)" Thea then wrote back, "Yes, it is. :D" A flash of happiness can be seen at Thea's face while viewing NightSky92's profile picture - a digitally enhanced raven. Another invite from NightSky92 notified her when her mother called out for dinner. Thea just message NighSky92 with, "Need to do something. GTG :)". "Ok ;)", NihgtSky92 responded. ------------------------------------- After dinner and cleaning the dishes. Thea immediately rushed to her room, plugging out her cellphone charger and launched Mobile Legends. She hopes to play with NightSky92 again but NightSky92 was already offline. Disappointed, Thea just closes her eyes and goes to sleep. The following day, when Thea arrived at her school. The school principal, Mr. Cruz, announces that there will be an upcoming inter-school competition next month. The crowd goes wild and teases Hubert, the basketball captain, and Savanna, the reigning queen of prom, to be the Mr. and Ms. Ultimate Gorgeous representative for their school. Thea on the other hand, doesn't mind all of these at all. She knows exactly what her role would be during these events - one of the audience. Mr. Cruz further tells the school that to be able to officially select all suitable representatives to all competitions, they will conduct a Sport Festival and Mr. and Ms. Gorgeous next week. Thea loves the idea of school events. Because this is the moment to relax and play Mobile Legends without any interruptions. All she needs to have is her name on the attendance list, go to her favorite Acacia Tree besides the school field and either sleep or play Mobile Legends there. No one will notice her, as always. There even this one time, she fell soundly asleep on a sunny afternoon there during their English Festival and woke up at 8 PM when the school guard noticed her during his rounds. She was then fetched by her mother and scolded for being irresponsible. Remembering this, Thea smiled and noticed that the announcement was finished. She then went to her classroom, sat on the furthest set and listened quietly as she always would. After her morning classes, Thea went to her usual spot - the big acacia tree besides the school field. She ate her lunch which her mother made special for her everyday then logon to Mobile Legends for a quick game before going to the library for her assignment. In here mind, she wished to see NightSky92 on the online list and, perhaps, invite NightSky92 on a rank mode game. Her heart beats fast looking at the screen of her cellphone while the game application start out. She realized, this is the first time she longs for someone aside from her parents. She thinks that it feels weird to felt that way since from the beginning, it was always her and her parents. Thea never had friends before because their family moves a lot due to her father's work as a Geologist. Her mother, on the other hand, is an IT Expert working from home so she doesn't mind moving around for her husband's job needs. To her dismay, NightSky92 is currently offline. She brushed it off and started a match of pass time. The whole afternoon ended as usual. Thea gathered her things and walked out from her classroom when she accidentally bumps into a man wearing black hoodies and a face mask covering mostly of his face. "I'm sorry." Thea spurted out. "No problem." The man replied and walks out. Thea brushed it off and about to leave when a voice caught her attention. "Miss, I think this is yours." Someone said coming from her back.
